One cause that is close to us at The Spirit of the Circuit, is fundraising for HIV/AIDS prevention and research. Each year, riders from all over, make the 7-day, 545 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, to raise money and awareness for the HIV and AIDS services of the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
This year, we would like to bring your attention to rider, Michael Beatty. Michael has been training hard with countless others, to make the journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles. We are very happy to be able to give him a boost, in this worthy campaign to end HIV/AIDS, once and for all. Please join us in giving him your support.
“Michael Beatty is smart, attentive, and one of few who can be simultaneously intense and gentle. He’s a mentor, a coach, and a survivor. Michael took me under his wing when I expressed my interest in pursuing other endeavors, when he was the Dance Events Producer for Folsom Street Events. Since then I’ve watched him take charge of his life, by going to Barber School; graduating, and moving on to Palm Springs. He found his bliss, and a new career at CUT Barber, and I could not be more proud of him. He has always been one to praise someone, for a job well done. It is my turn to do that for him. It is a privilege and an honor to feature Michael Beatty at The Spirit of the Circuit, as one of our Honorary Spirits. It is well-deserved Michael.”

“I would NOT be in YOUR LIFE if organizations like The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation did not have the necessary funding to continue providing life-saving services to people facing a life living with HIV.”
Michael is returning for his 5th year as a participant; his 4th as a rider for AIDS/Lifecycle. Please join us in helping Michael reach his goal.
