J Warren- The Circuit Revolution: Volume 17

2016 has been absolutely insane. For those of us who survived, we must pick up the pieces; move forward, and forge a new path. As the Circuit evolves in the ebb and flow of life, we evolve with it. More on that later! 😉

In the meantime, join us in a celebration of the upcoming new year and a farewell to the old, with the introduction of a new face to The Spirit of the Circuit family, J Warren!

J Warren brings high energy and creativity to both the dance floor and his productions. He has DJed many popular events across the country and abroad, such as SIN in Toronto, Overdrive at San Diego Pride, FuKr DC & NY, Dallas Purple Party, Gay Days in Orlando, Splash/SXSW in Austin, Climax Sundays in Denver and HNO New Orleans.
This rising star is known for bringing his unique circuit big room sound to the main room and for his sexy tribal and tech sounds to the dark rooms or afterhours. Things are heating up for this young talent with some big opportunities in his near future.

J Warren has also had successes with his music production projects. He has had tracks released on various labels including Next Step Records, Pump Records and Citrusonic Stereophonic. Under these labels, he has done official remixes for names such as Luciana, Glovibes and Dirty Pop. J Warren has also released a single “It’s too Late” with Tristan Jaxx featuring the voice talent of Janellie. This single included a package that contained remixes from names such as Oscar Velazquez and Andre Grossi. Looking forward, J Warren has many new remixes, originals and collaborations in the works for late 2016 and 2017. The sky is the limit for this young dj and producer.

Circuit Workout May 2016

Hailing from New York City, James Anthony is a dynamic DJ/producer/remixer who has shown a tremendous affinity for music from an extremely young age, and has spent a better part of his life bringing it to the masses. James got his first big break working in radio- at the legendary dance station WKTU in New York City. Within weeks, at the young age of 21, he accomplished what some have spent years attempting- he secured his own weekly mix show, a show that would go on to establish James’ name in the New York market and bring a consistent weekly audience of fans.

With a massive radio audience came a packed calendar of club appearances, as James would spend his weekends DJ’ing on NY’s largest dance floors. He immediately fell in love with the “circuit” crowds’ intensity and passion for the music. Knowing he had found his “home” with this crowd, James began establishing a reputation among promoters and clubgoers as a DJ known for intense peak hour sessions and testosterone driven hard beats.

James is an internationally booked name, having played high profile parties in Sao Paulo’s “Jungle Party”, Belo Horizonte’s “Gods Party” and Rio De Janeiro’s Leboy. He recently headlined the Karmabeat/Switch New Year’s Eve party in Mexico City. In the US- he continues to make regular appearances in Miami, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Marco Middlesex- Sexation

Born into a Navy family, Marco Middlesex’s earliest years were spent in Atco, New Jersey. When Marco was two years old, his father received orders that he would be stationed overseas in Europe. What was supposed to be just a four-year tour of duty expanded into sixteen years, with Marco experiencing an extraordinary cultured life and education in England, Scotland and Ireland.

While attending school in Europe, Marco excelled in the arts. After years of working and living in Philadelphia, Marco moved to San Francisco with his then partner Steve in 1994. They lived in the Western Addition. Both created a home and lived happily together for several years until Steve died. After the death, Marco poured his energy and emotions into his other great love: entertaining people. Marco explains, “I live for, and I love to, sing, dance and perform, and to promote and express feelings of affection, hope and fun for everyone who will share and listen.”

In 2010, Marcos’ career began to take an upward swing. He found himself performing for many charitable fundraisers throughout San Francisco. These performances caught the attention of P.A. Cooley, who was casting for a new short-run musical called “Bearlesque.” Marco subsequently was featured in the musical.

In 2011, Marco founded a production company, MXM Artisan Agency. With the company, Marco pays it forward to his fellow artist and entertainment groups. He says, “I am a stoic believer in the universe’s ultimate justice, Karma. I always endeavor to put out good and positive energy into the universe and to treat others with respect and courtesy; everyone deserves this.”

Marco has recorded several original songs, including: “Free Yourself to Love,” produced by Leo Frappier of Hit Save Music, and featuring Raquela and Xavier Toscano: “In Deep and Dance” (Independence), also produced by Leo Frappier and Hit Save Music. Another Marco Middlesex tune, “All that I Am,” was released in October 2013.

Marco has recorded two cover tunes that charted well on the Reverbnation dance charts, “Frozen”, by Madonna and “Touch Me”, by Ryan Tedder and Bonnie McKee. In 2014, he reproduced Tina Cousins’ smash dance single “Mysterious Times”.
He has performed at various venues in the Bay Area & at SF, Reno & Catro Valley Pride events.

When it was decided that The Spirit of the Circuit™ website would come to fruition, LGP, LLC. asked Marco if he would re-release his progressively fun track, “Sexation”, with Drag Performer, Sheena Rose; also produced by Leo Frappier. We are thrilled that he obliged, and are extremely happy to feature Marco on The Spirit of the Circuit™ website.
