Folsom Street Events Presents: ROUGH – The official closing party for Up Your Alley Weekend!

With the announcement from P. Tyrone Smith that his signature event PLAY T-Dance would be on hiatus this year, Folsom Street Events (FSE) took this opportunity to plan a new party, ensuring that an event of equal caliber could fill the closing party slot. With Mezzanine solidified as the venue for the event (just a short walk from the Up Your Alley fairgrounds), the promise of a full weekend is at hand. ROUGH will be a part of the weekend’s indulgent activities. Unlike other signature FSE parties, this event will not feature a play space.

DJ/Producer RUSS RICH and PAUL GOODYEAR will headline as the evening’s sensational talent, mixing throbbing, pulsating beats all night long. An amazing laser and light show with a sensational decor set-up will transport you to another dimension in other worldly debauchery. This party is expected to sell out fast with a crowd of over 1,000 hunky leathermen. Get ready to get rough on the dancefloor.

-You must be 21 years of age, or older, to attend this event.
-ID required for entry.
Tickets are non-refundable. Check for a limited amount of tickets available at the door, when online sale ends.

The Spirit of the Circuit Stands in Solidarity with the Families and Victims of Pulse Orlando, and the Entire LGBTQ Community

It’s been a heart-wrenching week since the tragedy at Pulse nightclub, in Orlando, took the lives of 49 brothers and sisters of the LGBTQ community. Many of us are still trying to wrap our heads around the situation, and many of us are still in shock. Our discomfort must surely pale in comparison to the pain and loss, the immediate loved ones must be feeling at this time. I have been struggling with finding a voice, and to find a way to honor, and to pay tribute to those lives that were cut short, too soon, and to find a way to provide comfort to the survivors. For now, I have decided that all any of us can do is to be visible, and to show support. However, if you are able, and would like to offer monetary support, please see the attached GoFundMe link for the official fundraising page.

As Gay Pride season is upon us, I think it is important to walk without fear. Be visible. Find comfort in knowing that we truly are a big family. That is evident in the tears we have shed together over this tragedy. While we can never truly know the pain the immediate families must be experiencing at this time, I would like for them to know that we share in their grief. In remembrance, and a celebration of their lives, we stand in solidarity with the victims; their families, and the entire LGBTQ community.

Somo familia.

Trever Pearson

Afternoon Delight

Trever Pearson is a San Francisco based DJ with a music history dating back to his first sax at age 10. It was in his discovery of deep house however, where his relationship to music began to shape his relationship with creativity and self expression. With electronic roots at Burning Man and a deep love for the West Coast, Trever weaves together a laid-back blend of deep & tech house beats with indie sounds and deep baselines, sexy grooves and a rhythmic swagger. From the beachside hammock to the dance floor to afterhours, his style and voice sing the tune of an urban coastal landscape rich with highs, lows, depth, and the urge to relax into a perpetual state of inner vacation. Music is a healer… and to be a vessel for this purpose is the goal. To allow the sound of gratitude to dance with the beat of one’s heart is at the core of Trever’s musical aesthetic… and is the message his art most wishes to communicate.
